Photo Materials Engineer
**General Description**
As a member of the Photo Materials team, the engineer will work in a high-speed, high-throuput manufacturing environment, and will focus on materials related projects, primarily performances improvements, quality control, cost reductions, consumption forecasting, new materials evaluations /selection /implementation, prevention /resolution of materials related excursions, and support of fab materials logistics. Quality control /new batches qualifications - Define and maintain a BKM / strategy for qualifying new batches of photo materials (all technology nodes) - create and update corresponding SOPs as needed. - Run qualification tests as per SOP. - Publish daily reports for batches qualification results and actual materials inventory status. - Plan and overview installation of new batches across photo tools fleet. Supply chain / forecasting - Forecast the short and medium term consumption of photo materials to be used for all technology nodes. Manage cross functional unit parts / departments survey to collect relevant consumption inputs. - Develop / maintain / improve forecasting tools for maximum reliability and accuracy. - Communicate forecast to key stakeholders' organizations. Provide updates as needed. Cost reductions - Define materials cost savings strategies. - Identify key projects and perform evaluations. - Implement new cost savings options in production as applicable. - Track actual materials related expenses and savings vs corresponding targets. Materials performances improvement - Identify opportunities and options for improving POR materials performances and corresponding process change points (PCNs). - Define qualification plans, perform evaluations, and obtain PCN specs release as applicable. - Define PCNs implementation strategy in production and execute accordingly. - Resolve and fix root cause for materials related excursions. Prevent recurrence. Manage and drive vendors as needed. New materials - Work with vendors to identify /design materials with performances superior to POR materials performances. - Perform evaluations of most promising candidates and select best candidate. - Define implementation strategy in production and execute accordingly. - Work in cleanroom environment as needed to handle / process materials on photolithography tools.
**Necessary Skills / Attributes**
* Bachelor's of Science in Engineering or related degree required.. - At least 3 years experience with Photolithography /Process Engineering /Materials. - In depth knowledge of state of the art photolithography, materials chemistry and photolithography materials processing - photoresists, antireflective materials, planarizing and high etch resistant materials... - Knowledge of photolithography process with understanding of integration into semiconductor process flow. - Understanding of interactions of photolithography materials with photolithography equipment. - Successful track of record for completing materials related projects on advanced technology nodes in a high-speed, high-throuput manufacturing environment. - Experience with working in clearooms and processing materials on state of the art photolithography tools. - Self motivated, focused on delivering timely and quality results, excellent team-player, willing to work extra hours as needed. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Positive attitude and exemplary work ethic. - High proficiency in MS Excel, MS word, MS Powerpoint. - Excellent communication skills, ability to multi task, strong attention to details, ability to write accurate reports, flawless execution of tasks, follow job procedures (SOP).
